Pumpkin harvest:



I still have few shark fin melons and zucchinis in the garden. Shark fin melons didnīt grow well at this year, they are small but I got 4.

good haul this will keep you going through the winter lol

its been a bad year all round, i asked a few gardeners on the street and they were complaining about there tomatoes still green on the vine. not even had a decent summer...

The last two shark fin melons:



Smaller is 1,2 kg and bigger 3 kg.

Shark fin melons grow surprisingly well here in the north.

Itīs good for different kind of vegetable or chicken soups or the youngest ones I usually just cook and eat like vegetables.

I have read that in the South America people may make sweets from it but I havenīt tried it.

Yep, I wish that the next summer will be warmer so Iīll get more harvest from those shark fins melons. Last summer was so cold and rainy that they kept alive but didnīt grow as much as before.
